The community media team of the Trust was involved in the
video documentation of NPM program.
WASSAN’s partnership with Community Media Trust promoted by
Deccan Development Society (DDS) further established this
season.
As per the
understanding, the team provided a minimum of 3 days per
month to take video footage of the key processes in the
field. Apart from that, they used to available whenever a
key event was happening. The team consisted of 2 women
members who themselves have orientation on NPM. Their
understanding and knowledge about the program helped in
involving the community into the process and capturing the
essence of the critical processes.
 The team was given back
up
support from WASSAN in terms of logistics, scheduling,
conceptualizing and capturing the critical footage. A
coordinating person along with the field staff accompanied
them in the field. The team covered the program on Redgram,
Castor and Paddy implemented in
Mahabubnagar and Kurnool districts.
A
total of nearly 18 hours video footage was developed in the
process. By and large, this footage encompasses all the
critical phases and processes in implementing the program.
