WWF Dialogue Bulletin - April 2006 - Issue No. 19

Adaptation of many new methods like SRI will take time, many issues such as weeding etc., need to be sorted out. The methods need to be modified based on soil types, rainfall and farmers’ preferences. What is interesting about SRI is a continuous dialogue with farmers, civil society and the government agencies resulting in several adoptions and modifications. Every one is learning and SRI is still evolving’.
